For those who are starting a restoration with a car that won't or might not
appreciate the strain that the leverage of a rotisserie puts on the structure
---  Doug Jennings has a system that is really nifty.  Not hard to build and
could be turned into a rotisserie too.  Car is suspended from the rear
crossmember inserts in the frame and from the rear shock mounts.  For a more
