Or my car, I took the stock sensor and ground off enough of the threads
to enable soldering into a household-plumbing copper fitting that I then
screwed into the manifold directly; I did have to solder on a connector
to accept a ground wire. Works fine, looks OK, and it got rid of that
dangly in-the-air fitting that mounts amidst the hose.
