     I just talked to my local electric car fanatic (he built one based on 
     a Chevy S-10), and he said that gel cell type batteries have a lot of 
     neat features, but they typically store FEWER amp hours than an 
     equivalent sized Die-Hard.  So if your car is a pain to start, you 
     will run a gel cell flat much sooner.
