While in Germany a few years ago, my brother and I accidently defeated
one of
these systems by having snow piled on the bumper. My bro ran a red
light
(not as bad as it sounds as the road was deserted late at night). In
the
middle of the intersection there was a large flash. He said "Ah sh*t."
I
didn't know about the system Later as we unpacked, we noticed snow
covering the plate. The ticket never arrived in th3e mail, even though
he
was driving a fairly rare (for Germany) Mazda RX-7.
Now if we could get that to work in the summer!
