A long time ago (in a state far, far away) I owned a '62 (I think) Sprite (first non-bugeye year) and if I remember correctly that beastette used bubble flairs. I think I remember that because I owned a double flair tool at the time and simply did a partial second crush to end up with a bubble that worked about 75% of the time.
