Fumes. Take one Holley 4-bbl. One mechanic who made a mistake (me). Add one torn o-ring that seals (or at least was supposed to) the end of the fuel transfer tube that shuttles fuel from the front float bowl to the rear bowl. Leak for a while, emit fumes that said mechanic does not find the source of. Finish with flambe. Luckily I had a fire extingusher with me and the damage was minimal. Jim B9470139 |
