If I recall, the stock tach NEVER works "just fine." Didn't the Sunbeam
Survivor document a test run by Tiger Tom at a meet that found NO tach
to be correctly calibrated? Why don't you guys give it up and buy an
electronic tach??? Unless its sole purpose is just to fill the hole in
the dash and you don't really care to know how fast the engine is
turning, that is.
