        If I owned a Tiger, or any other open-topped car of that period,
I'd install a roll-over bar. Why? Because the only protection that you've
got against being squished by over a ton of steel in the event of an
accident is the windscreen. 

        Were I to get one fitted, I'd go to someone who supplies them to
racers - such as Safety Devices here in the UK - because they're likely to
know what they're doing, and will fit something that isn't just a body
adornment.
