Jim, I had the same problem. When the car was built, Rootes used rubber shims that were under the two outside bolts on each side that hold the windshield in place. These shims were wedge shaped and could vary depending on the car. I found that my Alpine V had shims only on one side and my Tiger IA had them on both. You could make up a set out of hard rubber and you'll have to play with it until you get a perfect fit. Regards, Curt Classic Sunbeam |
