Frank,
None of the finishers fit as you would like to think they should fit. They
normally sit on a flange that is too wide and the twist is common. You just
have to accept that these are not hand made cars with perfect fit. The most
you can do is to bend a little, twist a little, and maybe fab some custom
retainers to allow the studs to fit onto the existing holes. Mine on "Blue"
had to be lengthened to allow the nuts to be installed at the ends.
Perfection is a goal that we seek but know that we cannot reach.
