remember at initial firing after rebuild/storage,etc that if you will be pulling the coil wire to disable the ignition to crank the car in order to prime the oiling system, that the coil wire should be grounded! not only can a wandering spark light off the gas from your hemorraghing carburetor, but some of your elec devices you may have can be adversely affected by voltage spikes. charlie o. |
