We heard that Mustang Pilot pulled up, shut engine off, and sat there. When
they checked on him he was dead.
John Livingston, namesake for Richard Bach's JOHNATHON LIVINGSTON SEAGULL,
was testing a biplane at age 75 or so. He taxiied up the hangar and shut it
down, and died strapped in.
I know no other details.
This kind of demise has some appeal, to me, over some other some other modes.
