I will bring a round Weber grille.
I've taken the Thicktone PA and Thicko grille off the trailer. Every f'n
scratch or dent I have in either Redrum or Red Arse is due to hauling
massive amounts of shit in my trailer, and I'm a little sick of that.
Thus afternoon was s'posed to be load up day, but it seemed like everything
I touched turned to shit today. I replaced the non adjustable floats in my
carbs with the adjustable style. No matter how I adjust them, they're
blowin' fuel out the tops of the bowls. I got pissed and ripped the piece of
ship regulator that was on the car and hope to replace it with something
that works. I might have to RTFM. Do you guys know what that means? (Read
the fucking manual... I hate it when I have to do that.)
Then, I see coolant (milky white since I started using a NAPA rust
inhibitor) seeping out of the old heater valve I have on the back of my
cylinder head. So, I go to the garage and harvest a new doohickey... one
without a valve. Of course, the base on that doesn't clear the valve cover,
and since that valve cover always manages to leak, I harvest a different one
of those too. Get the doohickey mounted, and remember why I quit using this
valve cover, as there was evidence that the valve train was scrapin' the
inside, leaving aluminum shavings all over the rockers, and, of course,
traveling into the block, into the oil, into the bearings...... (And that's
a STOCK rocker assembly, not any of that Cheatin' Dog roller rocker shit
half you assholes are using...)
So, then I take a Dremel, and grind the shit out of the valve cover to
increase the clearance (Clarence), and then paint the freshly ground areas
black to help show any evidence of further interference.
Then, of course, the vent in that valve cover comes out precisely at the
wrongs spot. Man, this is way too much cockin' around.
So, since I'm sort of workin' like a white man these days, I will have no
daylight hours to f with this. ARrrgghhhh.
OK, I feel better now.
No I don't. I need a drink.

I do not have a grill of substance but I will try to find one. We should
have a nice barbeque in fine Thicko fashion on Fri night. Plus we are
planning lunches on both Fri and Sat.
I am bringing the motorhome and will get there late Thurs. I will try to
save some space for FLounder, Jim D, Charlie Hall, Stan Mason and whoever
else sends a note. I do not know the rules or routine well yet at MidOhio
but we will try for a land grab.
