This is key - I've found that the dimension and roundness here are
key, especially if access is at all awkward. In particular, a hole
that is even slightly too big will cause the blind nut to fall out
at the worst possible moment.
I usually drill undersized (drilled holes aren't round, anyway) and
ream to size with a tapered reamer.
