get yourself some unmodified throttle bodies for the S.U.'s. your bore through
may be good for a scca national runoff motor that has seen dyno time..but i
have had the worst of luck with bore through carbs. you murder mr. bernoulli
and need a perfect head/valve/cam/piston match to even come close. the bridge
is needed for a low pressure area to pull proper gas short of a comptune or
huffaker engine. you can still do lots of nifty mods to them. like the
butterfly/damper/jet mods. get a few extra ponies without beating your head on
the bonnet every weekend trying to get them to work right. and did you look
into your throttle shaft leaks?..thats a big one...really....havent forgot
about the rear hubs.
