To all,
I'd like to hear some opinions...
I know it's a long standing tradition to cover up a wrecked race car once
it's dragged back to tech.
Why is that?
In my opinion, I think it should be left uncovered, as long as no one was
seriously hurt in the incident.
Why?
It accomplishes a number of things. It's a grim reminder to all of us who
drive like we're invincible. If the accident is thought to be mechanical in
nature, it allows those of us with similar cars to learn why. It also allows
others to inspect the safety equipment to see how well it held up.
What are your thoughts?
