Great idea, grouping cars this way!!!
I vote against the standing start because of safety considerations. The
inverted start wouldn't be bad. Lots of passing, but much of it will take place
on the first lap or so.
We have particularly enjoyed the handicap approach -- but usually the folks
figuring out the starting times get a few of them wrong so that's a problem. I
guess my preference would be
1. Lotto drawing (never done one of these - sounds like fun)
2. handicap
3. inverted
