To the Esteemed Thicko Brotherhood,
As the spiritual leader of all that is Thicko, it does my heart good to
see the way things come together... to see how many people are starting
to "get it".
We fed between 25 to 60 people depending on the time and day. Food was
the best. I'd rather have been racing... but the flounder hernia
prevented that effort. Sometime saturday night, my belly button (the
incision started around the top of my navel) went from an " inny" to and
"outty". This was quite disturbing, especially when you realize how
"inny" my belly button usually is. A trip to the hospital this AM
indicated it's not the mesh letting go or another hernia tear. So...
that's good news.
A quick trackside survey of the Small Bore Grand Prix showed that all
but 2 or 3 cars were flying the Thicko colors. Congratulations to all of
you Thickos, both new and old... y'all done good.
Bill Dalton and I got up and played (every song we don't know). We, Team
Thicko, are the official party sponsor/entertainment for the Vintage
Grand Prix Au Grattan in August at Grattan. Hide the woman and children.
Yee hah. The Grattan race weekend and Grattan Raceway are my favorites
of the race schedule.
