[Spridgets] List / members / trouble

I've heard from people I know are members here that hey haven't received
anything for months.
I'm receiving but it seems pretty slow, like maybe some folks still can't
send / receive?
Mark, what causes this?
I know spam filtering can really cause a lot of trouble, but is there
something more?
