[Spridgets] plastic lens restoration

I second the 'sand and then polish with a buffer'.  I use good 3M wet-or-dry
paper, 1200 grit, and then I polish with 3M PerfectIt III on an old fashioned
wool bonnet attached to a rotary buffer.  After all of this work I find it
worthwhile to protect with 303 aerospace protectant.
