The 1960 MGA I owned. . and it was a solid car with good shocks. . . the
car really did not handle that well in the corners. It enjoyed driving it,
but It had a good amount of roll to it.
My Capri (at the time) with the V6 would run past it in corners no
problem.
My Bugeye, before I put the sway bar back in and the racing shocks would
also take corners much more effectively.
MGB's I have driven were also much faster in the corners with much less
roll factor. I guess that those who race the MGA must be doing something
to the suspension to keep it competitive.
Anyone with MGA experience concur, or possibly something was "off" with my
car that I was not aware of?
Just a thought after watching the film.
