That is an extremely rare Group B race car - an absolute beast. They were not
built to be beautiful, but to get from one end of a rally stage to the other
in
the least amount of time. For those of us who appreciate form following
function, this thing is actually incredibly cool. There's nothing on it that
doesn't make it accelerate, brake, turn and/or attempt to keep it glued to the
road surface.
Unfortunately, that last part proved to be the most difficult
to accomplish.
When you combine that with Rally enthusiasts who tend to hog
the sides of the
road, you find the reason Group B was short-lived as a
class.
