They sell their votes through campaign donations, gifts, services, and perks. 
In 
addtiion, they insure their futures by taking or having the option to entire 
private business with lucrative jobs. This applies to many staff members as 
well.
Lobbyists should be eliminated or their lobbying actions severely limited.

Group!
        I want to pose a question about our elected officials. They all most 
likely
get campaign donations from people, businesses
    and other groups. It is interesting to see how they vote on bills related to
the groups that gave donations. Could this be conceived
    as selling their vote? Just an idea!
