Heard,
B
AH Spares UK has grate products. They had padding and covers and the
fit was
grate. It took about 2 hr. per seat. Shipping is about $150.00. If I
didnbt buy
from them I would go to a local custom shop.

Subject: [Spridgets] Seats
Hi Folks,
It
seemed simple.B I started out replacing the brake lines which of course
led
to removing the radiator which of course led to having it checked and
flow
tested which in turn led me to notice how bad the wiring harness was so
I
decided to replace it, which of course led to pulling the steering wheel
and
dash.B So now that I have the dash out, I decided to recover it which of
course leads me to wanting to redo the seats and carpet which brings me to
my
question.B What is everyone doing to replace/recover seats?B I think my
seat
frames are good enough that I can blast and repaint them but of course
the 50
year old foam is shot.B I see a few options including new covers and
padding
from Moss or other suppliers, finding someone locally who can
re-upholster, or
even replacing the seats with something out of the
junkyard, although I don't
have a clue what might fit and look somewhat
correct.B I would like the
wisdom of the list regarding the quality vs.
pricing of the usual suspects
(Moss and others) for seats and carpet sets as
well as any thoughts on the
other options.B I'm thinking Corinthian
leather..
This is for my '60 BE
which I hope to get on the road soon.
Thanks,
Heard
