I've run Allison, Crane, Pertronix, and modified Isuzu (Hitachi
electronic) dizzys. I think the Allison design was adopted by Crane.
I suggest you do like Frank and carry a spare points dizzy. Just make
note of where the rotor points before you pull the old one and make
the replacement rotor drop in the same quadrant. Tune by ear/feel.
