I don't have it handy, but I seem to remember the hole being .040-.060"
in diameter.
Certainly I'd think duplicating one of the other restrictors would be
better than its current open state.
Good luck.

Subject: [Spridgets] Emission control restrictor info needed
Working on my wife's California-spec '78 Midget 1500. There's supposed
to
be a restrictor in the vacuum line that goes from the Anti-Run-On valve
(at
the front canister) to a fitting in the intake manifold. It's shown in
the
factory manual, but it's missing on her car. Apparently never been there
as
long as we've had the car. Since I'm tracking down other haunts in the
canister system, I'd like to fix this too. I don't have a parts book so
I
don't have a part number, and Moss just doesn't show it at all.
Anyone know the size of the drill hole in this restrictor, or perhaps
have a
source for the part itself ? Any chance it'd be the same size as one of
the
other two restrictors in the canister system ?
Thanks !
Karl
