If I had the room I've had plenty of opportunities for old machines. I work in
a machine shop and since it doesn't look good for retiring anytime soon I'll
have equipment to use. Are you using your machines in retirement?

Before the Aerospace crash in 1990 I was a Pattern Maker. When I closed the
shop I kept most of the tools. I love old solid tools. I have a round ram J
head Bridgeport that we got for free in 70? That we overhauled. It's great. I
did have to let my 12" x 12' 3 phase lathe go I loved that monster! I had a 3
jaw chuck about 50 pounds. Remove the gap and I could turn 47" diameter.
