Some fuel cells have two pick-up points, one on each side of the tank.
You don't have to use both of them but if you do, you can put a pump on
each pick-up fuel line before merging into one piece of plumbing running
to the front of the car. If you decide to wire them through a switch
(like many racers do) you can put them on one switch or two. He used two
switches.

I noticed a right & left switch for the fuel pump.
Is one a back up system or is he running two small tanks?
It was in one of the pictures on the second link.
I could not find where the meantioned the system.
