Kent....
Early 68s (mine per the VIN) do not have headrests. There were no MKIII
Midgets in 1964. Could you be thinking Sprite instead of Midget? I don't
think the headrests came until 1969 or 1970.
Per Clausager's book....
First MKII G-AN3/25788 March 1964
First MKIII G-AN4/52390 October 1966
First 12CC-DA-H 1275cc engine went into G-AN4 Midgets in late 1966. Only 15
LHD Export versions of the 1966 G-AN4 1275cc cars were built in late 1966.
First 10CG-DA-H 1098cc engine went into G-AN2 MKI Midgets in late 1962.
Early 1962 MKI Midgets were G-AN1 MKI Midgets with the 9CG-DA-H 948cc
engine.
Cheers!!

shame, two is a law firm, and three or more is a congress."
