[Spridgets] Iridium Plug Question

I've never understood why both of the mags are driven by the same shaft, at
least on all the airplanes that I have flown or given lessons in.  If that
shaft fails the second mag goes with the first.  The engine usually arrives at
the chash scene first so I guess it is OK!!  Skip J.
