Hello gary,
When it was time to replace or repair mine, I went to a local
(VERY REPUTABLE) shop. I asked how much to have it re-cored. It
was $10 more than to get a replacement from the Usual Suspects,
so I had done by the local guys. They did it better than new!
I've been stuck in near gridlock on a 98 degree summer day and
not had it go above 205 degrees. If you have a GOOD local shop,
     that's the way to go..
     My 2 cents.
