Mike's right. The 100M built at the factory iis the big dollar car, but a
dealer or owner car with the added LeMans kit can also be listed in the
registry. Take a look below, the car at auction is in par. 2:
1. Anyone who owns a factory built Austin-Healey 100M "Le Mans" can
register
by sending a photocopy of your British Motor Industry Heritage
Trust
Production Record Trace Certificate and the other items listed in
Item 3
below, to the Registry address in California.
2, If you have a
post-production, retro-fitted or owner-converted "Le
Mans" you can register it
by sending a description of the "Le Mans"
modifications made to your car,
photos of the car and its chassis and
body numbers and the other items listed
item 3 below, to the Registry
address in California. Minimum modifications to
qualify include a
louvered bonnet and strap, 1-3/4" carburettors, special
inlet
manifolds, cold air box and air tube

No, that is a converted BN1 with a 100 LeMans kit. Read it carefully. This
guy did a super job restoring a BN1 and added a Lemans dealer kit, but no
louvered hood which makes it an expensive BN1.
