At least IMHO neither country nor rock are particularly difficult. Jazz and
Classical take some real talent, training and ability. Try ad-libing 12 bar
arpeggios around the circle of fifths in several keys on your guitar some
time if you doubt it. You can do that? Okay, now do it in 7/8 time....
Better yet alternate 12 bar phrases in 7/8 and 5/4 time and modulate to a
new key every 4 phrases.....
Hell no! I can't do that! But I can hear it when someone really good does
it!
