<<I stay away from Linksys as both ones I have tried
were POC from new.>>
AGREED, Duncan !!!
<<Been having good luck with higher end Netgear and
Dlink recently.>>
I have had so-so luck with them. However, a buddy that
used to work for Mickey-Dees (in I.T.) told me about
Hawkings and I am MORE then PLEASED and it has been
a tad over a year with ZERO problems!!!
Hawking router is in the house and NOT in the best of
places. Here at Shop (about 100' I have their 'gain
directional antennae and system within a system<G>)
mounted upside down held in place with 4 drywall
screws<G>.
Signal has to go thru couple doors & two trees and it
does.
HTH. Larry !!
Ooops, forgot to mention that the 3 boxes in the house
'hard wired' and in the same room (we tight<G>) and
that solution was CHEAPER!!
Ed
PS: I do most of my 'picture work' from the shop and
'signal degradation' is minimal.
