Frank,
Per Vizard the 12G-295 head was used with the 10CC engine, as was the
12G-206. One potential problem of using a head from a 1275 is that the
chamber volume of the 1098 head is significantly more than that of the 1275
head. Nominally 28.3cc for the 295 head vs 21.4 for the 940 head. Without
some serious rework you might find the engine in detonation a good part of
the time.

p.s. 12G206 and 12G295 are from the 1098, whereas 12G940 is from early 1275s
and 12G1316 from the air injected later 1275s.
