I got it all sorted out. Sorry to hear all the troubles. Especially
since I fixed you the first time on the GSP. Glad you made it safe and
sound and the car ran OK when it ran.
I have had more than my share of those kinds of trips (swapping the
alternator out in a driving rain storm in VA comes quickly to mind).
BUt as you noted, they are never forgotten and seem to merge into fond
memories that are laughed about in the telling years later.
And as always, wonderful to put a face to a name I have known for years.
