Exactly what Bryan said. But I just used a grinder to take a tad off the
inside edge of the brake drums.
I have converted a few to the later brakes. My 58, two59s, 60, and the
59 Austin A40.
At first I thought the brake drums were just a bit thicker from the
early cars but it is just a slight difference in how the back plates mount.
