We are paying $5.58 an imperial gallon (4.5 litres) for regular gas, or $4.96
a U.S. gallon (4 litres) where I live, west of Toronto. Fuel is sold by the
litre Canada, $1.24 today, diesel is the same price, which is unusual, diesel
has been costing more these days.
I drove out to the east coast of Canada last month with my diesel truck and
5th wheel camper, took the ferry to Newfoundland, where the cost of diesel
worked worked to $7.65 an imperial gallon, ($1.70 litre) or $6.80 a U.S.
gallon.
We have been use to paying higher fuel prices for years, the local news said
fuel was going up 2 cents a litre to-nite.
