[Spridgets] removing needle & seat SU carb. need help

I don't see my previous message so I am assuming it is slow or lost, I have
a stuck needle in my SU HS-2 carb. I think it is dirt so I used my
compressed air and it moves but still sticks in the top of the carb housing.
Can I just remove the needle assembly and check it and how do I get the
float off to do that?
