Had a pretty good shake down here - - about 75 miles south of Buster.
The computer monitor was a rocking for what seemed like a half a
minute but most likely was shorter. Do not remember the last time I
felt an earthquake.
But I will take an earthquake any day over tornadoes where you have
to keep your radio/TV on for hours, go to the storm cellar for some
unknown time. Perhaps do this several times a year. With an
earthquake you do not know it is coming (so don't worry about it) and
in about 30 seconds you know if you have any reason to be concerned.
I always enjoyed the fellow in Simi Valley in the big earthquake
there years ago - - he looked out his patio door at the swimming pool
and said "Surfs Up".
