AAAARRRRGGGHHH!
Bob is quick!! I'll borrow the trailer tomorrow and get the VIN issue dealt
with by Sunday so I can get the papers to DMV on Monday morning. The first
CHP I had wouldn't come to the house to do the inspection and sign-off
(clearly not a car guy). There is a sub-station 10 miles away I can use.
Its going to take an evening to age the replacement VIN appropriately.
Now I'm excited!! A cool project gets under way, and I get to move the
Morris frame from the backyard to the frontside where I can set the cab on
it for the first time. Win-win!!
I just got an e-mail from BMIHT asking for more info on the Morris, which
is weird since I had less info on the Sprite and they came up with a
complete build record in no time. Since the truck won't be going to Jersey
or the Monterey Concourse, a perfect number isn't as important, but it would
be nice.
