Yeah, get your guy to do it.  I would gladly pay $75 every time for a
pro to do it.  You should be able to find a nice top for your price
range.  M*$$ and VB sell nice tops but I think they are overpriced.  I
would tell your guy how much you want to spend and let him recommend a
top.
