In a sense, it amounts to buying on speculation. If you did all that because
you wanted a 55 Chevy with a Z06 engine, etc, great. Drive it, enjoy it,
sell
it when you are too old to appreciate it. If you did all that and then
wanted
to get your money back (or even make a profit), lotsa luck!
Especially with Spridgets, the only reliable way to get your money back is
to enjoy the heck out of the car for as long as possible.
