Well, 3 things I've done that were wrong are:
Transmission mount on backwards. Engine and trans fit except for
about 2 inches. It's a trapezoid, wide face front.
Engine mount brackets are handed. The half-moon cutout is for the
steering column and must face forward.
Not enough beer.
