Some one (not me) did some research on all the *stuff* sold through the
JC Whitney catalog way back in the 70s.
If you bought all the fuel saving and horsepower goodies, you would get
200 horsepower out of a stock 1300cc VW air cooled engine and it would
be dribbling gas out of the tail pipe.
Oh yeah, the battery would last 50 years too.
