I've come a long way with the EFI tuning. The wideband O2
sensor allows the Autotune function to dial in the car pretty fast.
The timing table is set up as well as a table of target
air/fuel ratios. This allows me to operate at, say, 12;1 AFR and
22deg. BTDC when at 10lbs boost, and 16;1 AFR at 49deg. BTDC when
cruising.
The plugs look great and each morning's cold start is better dialed
in than the day before. The motor is running so well that I've had
to cover half the radiator to get up to the 160deg needed to trigger
Autotune. Well, part good tune and part bloody cold weather!!!
I finished a new center console to hold two speakers, fuel pressure
gauge, AFR gauge and power tap for the GPS and/or G-tech.
I mounted the old fiberglass hardtop and cleaned it up. It sure
makes these winter tuning rides more bearable.
I posted shots of the new console and hardtop on my homepage:

This is one hell of an education on engine management and its turning
out to be really fun.
