Hello,
i failed to mention the obvious.. they NEVER SALT the roads in
the PAC NW... when i lived in NY, (Putnam County) within three
days the major roads had been CLEARED. there's no challenge in
driving in NEW snow.. its the stuff that's been there for DAYS
and gets packed down that'll get ya.. ... AND
ANYBODY can drive with chains on.. or snow tires with studs..
big deal.. don't even need 4WD! .. try it with all seasons in
the PAC NW.... with rear wheel drive, .. ..
i KNOW most listers can do it.. its the amateurs (who as Bill
Gilroy pointed out, will stop going up a hill... D'oh) who get
ya when you're tooling around!.. heck driving in that snot is
how most of learned car control!
