Had a longish talk with George French of Oil Extreme the other day about the
lack of
ZDDP in modern oil, including Oil Extreme.
Oil Extreme is bereft of ZDDP because it quite simply doesn't nedd it by way
of it's formula and technology as an extreme pressure lubricant in and of
itself to begin with, having an extremely high Total Base Number (film
strength) which in and of itself PREVENTS metal/metal contact.
This shows up on the dyno in terms of a reduction in engine friction leading
to an increase in HP, as proven by David Vizard and Grassroots in their
continuous tests of this product with all types of engines at various
mileages.
All info on this is available on the Oil Extreme website and George welcomes
all
challenges in this respect. He also welcomes
all phone calls....very approachable.
According to Mr. French:
Oil Extreme is not subject to "drainoff" in the case of a vehicle stored.
considering that after use over a couple of thousand miles, this product
permeates the asperities in metal surfaces.
Dave Vizard was so impressed with his dyno results (along with all others)
that he
purchased stock in the company.
