I know most of you have seen the You Tube Video of the Bugeye test drive
by Roy Salvitori at Silverstone in 1958. I was watching it again fro the
umpteenth time tonight and noticed a screen shot of the instrument panel
with a large button or knob to the left of the windshield wiper knob. I
can't make it out in the video, but it's not on my car. Anyone know what
this is? One more thing, this video is a goldmine of originality facts.
You see the windshield wipers operating in the rainy conditions of the
track. This gives you an idea how fast your wipers should work. Mine
were never this fast and the last time I turned them on they did not work.
My turn signal light stopped working too, unless you tap on it. Boy
these cars just do not like to sit for very long. You gotta drive em!
