Hey, all. While at Wally World searching for the red bottle of STP Oil
Additive, I ran across a new STP product called STP Oil Stabilizer. It claims
to have high ZDDP content, so I emailed STP to find out how much ZDDP it has
in it. True to form, they don't know how much (well, of course they don't)
but they did say that it is higher than the red 4 cylinder oil additive which,
in turn, is higher than the blue bottle additive.
Here is an article from LN Engineering on oil and oil additive:

A comparison list of oil and additive ZDDP content:

As you can see, the red STP comes out pretty good -- and the new stuff is
better according to STP.
The GM EOS Assembly Lube was just discontinued according to my local GM
dealer.
BTW, the new STP Oil Stabilizer comes in a white quart bottle with the pour
spout like you find on hypoid oil bottles. $4/qt at Wally World.
